Buy cars directly from private sellers
Private sellers ask for an offer on their car through Carnet. As a licensed car dealer you see those cars on the Carnet auction and bid, together with other dealers. Your bid goes to the seller.
You get the seller’s details only after you agree on the price.
How the auction works

Request access
Start with your company’s VAT number, Belgian or European. We check it right away; then Carnet reviews every request.

See the cars
Photos and details of every car a private seller offers. New cars are added all the time.

Bid
Your bid is guaranteed: if the car is as described, it is binding and the price is not renegotiated at pickup.

Agreement and pickup
If the seller accepts your bid, you get their details. You pick up the car within 7 days, unless agreed otherwise.

Who gets access to the auction?+
Licensed car businesses with a valid Belgian or European VAT number. Carnet checks the VAT number right away and then reviews every request.
Where do the cars come from?+
From private sellers who asked for an offer on their car through Carnet. Carnet calls every seller within 24 hours.
What if the car is not as described?+
Your bid is only binding if the car matches the description. See article 8bis of the terms and conditions.
When do I get the seller’s details?+
After you agree on the price. Until then Carnet passes your bid on to the seller.
